Answer me this, where are the brothers who sang? Remember them though? The ones who made memories flutter past, slide-showing in ur fliker-film memory with three honest bars of a song?
They're gone. Most of them anyway. Fortunately, once in a while you stumble apon a dime in the rubble. I have. Mayer Hawthorne, white boy got SOUL.
Listened to he's album and was moved. If you can give 'A strange arrangement' a solid listen - there'll be a song there that does something to you.
Also, he has style.
